We Are Here To Help You

Hello, we are Speech-Language Communications. With over 20 years of experience in the Saint Louis area, we offer speech and language therapy to children of all ages.

With many speech-language pathologists on staff, Speech-Language Communications can address your child’s articulation, voice, fluency, or language disorder. We also offer services for children with reading and writing disorders. Our strategy-based philosophy at SLC includes working with the child, family, and school.  We value relationships and believe it’s the core to success!

We Are In This Together

To truly succeed, it takes a strong partnership between all those involved in your child’s learning. Through the collaboration of a supportive and nurturing team, we can help your child achieve their social and academic goals. We also believe in advocating for your child to make the most out of their learning environment.

We have strong relationships with many public and private schools in Chesterfield, Ballwin, Ladue, Creve Coeur, Kirkwood, and Webster Groves.

“Hi, I am Heather Little and I started Speech Language Communications as a way to get back to doing what I love, while maintaining the ability to raise our twin girls. My goal was to take my years of experience as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist and design a business that provides the best possible service while offering the flexibility and convenience you and your child deserve.”

Here Is How We Will Help

We understand that every child is unique and has different learning styles. We not only want to connect with your child, but build the confidence and self-esteem they need to attain their goals.

We believe in early intervention (as young as 18 months) and work with students through high school. Because it is so important that a child is in a comfortable setting, we offer in-home sessions, as well as sessions at your child’s school.

At SLC, our highly qualified SLPs look at the whole child and provide the individual services he/she needs. We focus on teaching strategies and building confidence so your child can succeed independently.

What Clients Are Saying

“Heather is truly one-of-a-kind. Her passion in helping each child be their very best, her high level of expertise in the area of speech and language, her dedication to supporting each child and their family as they move forward, and her compassion for every child she works with are what make Heather so special. My school is so lucky to have her working with our students! During tutorial meetings, she clearly explains the child’s growth and continued areas to focus on. Every parent that has worked with Heather expresses to me how grateful they are to have Heather in their child’s life and how much she has taught them, so they can also support the learning needs of their child.”
